Ewwww, bird poo soup!!  No decorum, those Starlings.

 

Now our neighbour has moved and taken his four cats with him, I've put a bird bath out in a corner of our little patio.  Its only an old black-painted round metal barbecue, but I'd noticed that the little fellows had been frequenting it when it was full of rainwater, so I've put it up on an old birdcage stand (sans birdcage) and am keeping it filled.  The magpies are enjoying it .. which means that nobody else gets a look-in.  Well, while they're there, anyway. ;)
